History/Complain:
Bitch was mated 40 days earlier with a pointer dog. Now the owner is came here for pregnancy diagnosis and for status of fetuses. Also the owner is interested to know the number of fetuses.
Ultrasound examination:
For pregnancy diagnosis ultrasound exam was performed. Abdominal scanning was performed by a convex probe.
Bitch was pregnant on U.S exam. 3 fetuses were seen on examination. All fetuses seen were alive.
Hearts of 3 fetuses were seen beating on u.s exam.
Discussion:
At this stage we cant judge the exact numbers of fetuses . Because ppregnancy was of about 40 days and we cant see all fetuses in one view at this advance stage of pregnancy. (Muhammad Waleed)
