C33 - Seasonal anestrus management of the buffalo

Hx:

• Buffalo  Heifer
• Previously showed Estrus signs but was not mated
• Now no heat signs
• Physically the animal was having good BCS 

U/S:

• 9 mm of Follicle on Left Ovary

Rx:

• Inj. Serelin (GnRH) 2 mL - IV

Follow up and Discussion: 
           As the body condition score, health and other physical parameters were the indication of good nutrition, so there'd be no nutritional anestrus in this case. + although the Buffaloes are polyestrous but they tend to be seasonally polyestrous for short days, so this is the case of the seasonal anestrus (May 05, 015 today, Temperature: 43 C (extreme temp) ) and the OV synch protocol was initiated.
GnRH at day 0 (today) PG at 7 day and GnRH (2nd shot) at 9 day. 
the AI will be performed with GnRH 2nd shot (Co synch) or 16 -22 hours post shot (Ov Synch).
