A block pattoki
HISTORY:
A doe
was presented to theriogenology clinic with the history of 4 month
pregnancy. The owner had complaint that doe was feeling restlessness and
somewhat abdominal pain from last night
, No restraining ,No water bag ruptured. The owner suspected ( doubted) that might be
buck had matted doe last night .Doe feed intake was normal. The owner
wanted to check the livablity of fetus either live or dead.
Treatment:
Ultrasonography was performed .there were 2
fetus with normal heart beat .Fetus were normal.
Note :
During
pregnancy , if mating is happened , it does not harm fetus and it doesn’t create problem.Because in pregnancy there is cervical seal .if matting happens the
semen will be deposited in vagina and it will not cross the cervical seal and not
deposition of semen in cervix .SO ,no harm to fetus livability.
otherwise what harm is expected to fetal liveability from semen if seal is open some how
